About Pr33tyTees Kitchen
Pr33tytee’s Kitchen is a small, Black-owned catering service that was born during the pandemic. As we all know, the pandemic was a difficult time for our communities. With so much more time spent at home, I found myself cooking more often for family and friends.
Although I had always known how to cook, I never really had to rely on that skill because I come from a long line of amazing cooks. Once I started my own family, however, I began putting those skills to use much more often. During the pandemic, my husband and I found ourselves hosting family gatherings, with me preparing the entrees for our events. After seeing how much our family and friends enjoyed my food—and realizing how much I loved preparing meals—we decided to take a chance and turn my passion for cooking into a business.
Our concept was simple: provide delicious, fulfilling meals to our family, friends, and community at an affordable price during a time when life felt especially difficult. In our family, cooking and feeding others has always been about more than food. It is a way of bringing people together—a way of showing love, celebrating, and caring for one another. We truly believe that food is good for the soul.
Now, five and a half years later, we are still here, committed to providing high-quality food and service at an affordable price while continuing to spread love from our kitchen to yours.

Meet Tyler
Tyler is an American-Jamaican, born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, with roots that trace back to Mississippi through her mother and Montego Bay, Jamaica, through her father. Her background and upbringing have shaped her strong sense of community, compassion, and commitment to serving others.
As a Community Health Worker, Tyler enjoys supporting community members and older adults, particularly by helping address social determinants of health and connecting people with resources that can improve their overall well-being. Beyond his work in community health, Tyler has found another meaningful way to serve others: through cooking. For Tyler, preparing and sharing food is about more than a meal—it is a way to create joy, bring people together, and make others feel cared for.
